KINGMAN - Lola Marie Bailey, 72, died Sept. 22, 2006, at Kingman Hospital.
She was born Dec. 23, 1933, in Stafford County, the daughter of A.V. and Faye I. Leahmann Moody. She graduated from Hutch-inson High School and attended Pratt Community College. A longtime Kingman resident, she was a cook for Kingman public schools and the former Pennock Care Home, Kingman.
She attended Kingman Christian Church and was a volunteer for the Kingman Hospital Auxiliary and the Nu-2-U Store.
Survivors include: four sons, Gerald V. and Joel W., both of Kingman, Neal E., Cheney, and Lynn R., Topeka; a sister, Ida May O'Neal, Cave City, Ark.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Moody; and a sister, Ina Waters.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Pastor Karen Ault presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The casket will remain closed.
