Lola A. Green, 83, died Oct. 6, 2009, at Hester Care Center, Wesley Towers.
She was born Aug. 24, 1926, Dighton, to Gustave Bruno and Anna Louise Bulk Weide.
She graduated in 1944, from Yates Center High School. She was a homemaker and a retired cook at the former Liberty Junior High School.
She belonged to the First Church of the Nazarene.
On Jan. 18, 1946, she married Ralph B. Green in Hutchinson. He died Feb. 3, 2009.
Survivors include: two sons, Gaylon and Ruby Green, and Jerry and Janice Green, all of Hutchinson; a daughter, Lynette and Rodney Osborne, Tahlequah, Okla.; sisters-in-law, Elsie Burnett, Monte Rose, Colo., and Glenna Frye and husband Calvin, Phoenix; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Howard A., Melvin E., Roy M., Wilber B., and Harvey H. Weide.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday Oct. 9, 2009, at the First Church of the Nazarene, with Pastors Doug Wyatt and Bones Nay presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson.
