Lola Marie Havercroft, 82, of Wichita, died November 22, 2021, at Thorne Care Center, Wesley Towers. She was born October 25, 1939, in Darlow, to Glen E. and Avice M. (Eisiminger) Havercroft.

Lola graduated from Partridge High School in 1957 and from Kansas State Teacher's College in Emporia in 1961. She taught P.E. at Wichita South High School for 13 years and was the synchronized swimming team coach. Lola then spent the rest of her career as a computer tech at MetLife in Wichita. She enjoyed exercising, considering Genesis Health Club her second home and job. Lola loved cats and being a second mom to her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by: brothers, Bud Havercroft of Hutchinson, Dale Havercroft of Goddard, sister-in-law, Kathy; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and numerous extended family members.

Lola was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Bill Havercroft; and sister-in-law, Helen Havercroft.

According to Lola's wishes, there will be no services. Inurnment will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Partridge Cemetery, Partridge, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the donor's choice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
