Loma L. Frederick, 80, died Nov. 18, 2011, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Florence, Kan., the daughter of Fred and Hope Koch. Loma graduated from Florence High School in 1949. She retired as an office manager for the Associated Veterinary Services in South Hutchinson. Loma was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and above all, people. On Aug. 6, 1982, she married Don Frederick in Marion, Kan. He survives.

Other survivors include: children, Pam and Norm Walker of Santa Fe, NM, Randy and Vicki McCleave and Pat and Tammy McCleave, all of Wichita, Jeff and Janice Frederick of San Diego, Calif., Diane Rose of Bemidji, Minn., Tony and Janice Frederick of Muncie, Ind., Scott and Caroline Frederick of New York, NY; sisters, Glenda and Jack Taylor of Marion, Kan. and Marylyn Blanding of Wichita; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Lujean Krause; and two grandchildren, Jeremiah Schurr and Jessie Rose.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence, Kan., with Reverend Jim Rhaesa presiding. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, or friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Cremation has taken place.
