Loree C. Teater's Obituary
LoRee C. Teater, 82, died July 7, 2006, at Hospice House.
She was born Oct. 12, 1923, in Pollard, the daughter of Oliver Lloyd and Alice Mae Nickel Buckbee. A resident of Hutchinson since 1959, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Cornerstone Baptist Church.
On Oct. 15, 1946, she married Gerald L. "Shorty" Teater in Ellsworth. He died Jan. 14, 2001.
Survivors include: a son, Jerry, Hutchinson; two daughters, Linda Leonard, Sterling, and Sheryl Peters, Hutchinson; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a grandson.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2006, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with Pastor Larry Wedel presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County, in care of the funeral home.
