Loretta June Edlund, 92, died June 28, 2010, at Hospice House. She was born June 2, 1918, in Hutchinson, to Oscar W. and Gertrude E. McDermed Edlund. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1936, Hutchinson Junior College in 1938, and Oklahoma State University in 1940. At OSU, she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, she worked for 42 years, for the former Central Fibre Products and now Packaging Corporation of America as a company accountant.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of the Hutchinson Business and Professional Women's Association.

She is survived by several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday July 2, 2010, in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Steven Taylor presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
