Lou Ann Hickey's Obituary
Lou Ann Hickey, 51, died Feb. 14, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Dec. 8, 1956, in Ness City, the daughter of Harry Dean and Dora Mae Burnett Shull. She graduated in 1975, from Lane County High School, and attended Garden City Community College and Fort Hays State University. A resident of Hutchinson since 1980, she was a waitress for Carl's Bar and Deli for 23 years.
She belonged to the United Methodist Church, Dighton.
On May 10, 1986, she married Marty Hickey in Hutchinson.
Survivors include: a son, Sean, Hutchinson; a daughter, Daci Hickey, Hutchinson; her mother and stepfather, Dora Mae and Calvin Bowman, Dighton; a sister, Tammy Rice and husband Steve, Scott City; a half-sister, Kelly French, Hutchinson; and two stepsisters, Pam Augustine and husband Greg, Ellis, and Cheri Benjamin and husband Ronnie, Antigua, West Indies.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Shull.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Westbrook Baptist Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Andy Addis presiding. A second service will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, Dighton, with the Rev. Dave Randall presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The casket will be closed. Burial will be in Dighton Cemetery.
