Louisa Alonzo, 87, was a loving and caring wife; mother, aunt, and great friend to lots of people went to heaven on Sunday, June 8, 2014.
She enjoyed life to the fullest.

One thing she had great pride in was all the time she was allowed to serve others and her years at working to feed people, clean and decorate the church, and most of all spend time with the Blessed Sacrament at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic parish. Her sense of humor will be missed because when she was around all things became funny.

Survivors include: her husband, Donato Alonzo; children, Jerry Alonzo, Donette Alonzo, Thomas Alonzo, and Jerome Alonzo, all of Kansas City, Mo.

A parish rosary will be 7 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Walnut, South Hutchinson, with Father Ned J. Blick presiding. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
