ARLINGTON - Louise Delventhal, 80, died Nov. 11, 2009, at her home, Arlington.
She was born Sept. 14, 1929, in Pineville, Ky., the daughter of Bennett D. and Lula P. McAdoo Wilson.
She was a 1947 graduate of Kingman High School. A longtime resident of Arlington, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Arlington United Methodist Church. She was very active and supportive of the Arlington Library. She served in the U.S. Navy.
In 1952, she married Cliff Davy. They were divorced in 1969. On Jan. 21, 1972, she married Jack E. Delventhal in McPherson. He survives. Other survivors include: son, Michael P. Davy, Salmon, Idaho; daughters, Phyllis L. Rice and husband Steve, Amarillo, Texas, Beth A. Blackburn and husband Bob, Arlington, and Susan L. Dirks, Mt. Hope; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Pastor Steve Gill presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday and until service time Saturday at the mortuary. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Partridge Cemetery, Partridge.
