Louise C. Henderson, 89, died Jan. 14, 2013, at Dillon Living Center.
She was born Feb. 24, 1923, in Hutchinson, to Cleo and Nora Lindahl Danford.
Louise was a member of Double Circle Class and First United Methodist Church. She retired from Cessna Hydraulic Division after 20 years of service and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a great wife, loving mother and grandmother.
She married Louis "Bud" H. Henderson on June 9, 1947, in Las Vegas, Nev. He survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Louis Henderson Jr. of Huntington Beach, Calif., Michael Henderson and wife Ranea of Hutchinson, and Timothy Henderson and wife Beth of South Hutchinson; three grandchildren, Kimberly (Henderson) Smith of Huntington Beach, Calif., Amy Henderson of Fort Smith, Ark., and Meghann Henderson of South Hutchinson; two step-grandchildren, Ryan Corkins and Brett Corkins of Hutchinson; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Snow and Charleen Bauer; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Stanley Cleo Danford Jr.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Daryl Peterson presiding. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with the family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
