SOUTH HUTCHINSON - Louise M. "Pat" Lyon, 80, died Oct. 7, 2005, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born April 10, 1925, in Wichita, the daughter of Leroy L. and Agnes P. Armstrong Patterson. She graduated in 1972 from Salt City Business College. A Hutchinson resident most of her life, she worked for Underground Vaults and Storage from 1977 to 1996, retiring as the facility manager.
She married Buster D. Smith. She then married Milton Lyon.
Survivors include: two sons, Dan G. Smith, Hutchinson, and Sam D. Smith, Norton; a daughter, Glenda Huckabey, Stillwell; and six grandchildren, Jesca Byndom,Columbia, MO, Matthew,Grandview, MO, Nicholas,Overland Park, KS, Dillon Huckabey,Stilwell, KS and Shawnee and Rachel Smith both of Guthrie, OK.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda; a brother, Glenn "Vernie" Patterson; two sisters, LaVeta Welch and June Stoy; and a grandson, Seth Smith.
Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Dave Killingsworth presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington, Ks.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice House, in care of the funeral home.
