Obituary

Lowell E. Putter, 91, died May 8, 2012, at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson. He was born March 4, 1921, in Garfield, Kansas, to Edward C. and Ina Rainbolt Putter. He was a retired oil field worker and jailer for the Reno County Sheriff's Department.
He belonged to the F.O.P. #18 and the Mason's.

On Sept. 30, 1972, he married Maxine P. Flynn in Reno, Nev. She died June 12, 1994. Survivors include: a son; a stepson; and a stepdaughter.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, in Fairlawn Burial Park, with Pastor Willard Stafford presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorials may be sent to the F.O.P. #18, in care of Elliott Mortuary.
