Lucille M. Bunge's Obituary
Lucille Marie Bunge, 102, died May 17, 2007, at Thorne Care Center, Wesley Towers, Hutchinson.
She was born May 3, 1905 in Wilmington, the daughter of James Franklin and Ada Viola Talley Parnell. She attended Hutchinson High School. A longtime Hutchinson resident, she was a sales clerk for J.C. Penney's, retiring in 1965, at the age of 60, after 15 years.
She belonged to the First United Methodist Church.
On Oct. 12, 1935, she married Lynn Albert Bunge in Hutchinson. He died Aug. 1, 1986.
Survivors include: a daughter, Betty Burnett and husband, Bob, Hutchinson; a granddaughter, Debbie Robbins, Hutchinson; and a great-grandson, Austin Robbins, Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Loren and Paul Parnell; and a sister, Viola Mabee.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Art Maddock presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
