Lucille F. Renner, 87, died June 18, 2009, at her home, Hutchinson.
She was born April 14, 1922, in Huntsville, to Byron Elbert and Sarah Jane Cramer Hunt. She graduated from Plevna High School on May 18, 1939. She was the USD No. 308 Food Service Manager for 21 years, until her retirement on July 1, 1987.
She belonged to the First Church of God, the USD No. 308 Cook's Club, American Diabetic Association, and the Women's Missionary Society.
On Aug. 9, 1942, she married Philip L. "Phil" Renner in Hutchinson. He died Oct. 8, 1990.
Survivors include: sons, Richard A., Hutchinson, Philip Dale, Shell Knob, Mo., Bob L., Hutchinson, and Darrell W., Shell Knob, Mo.; daughter, Barbara K. Renner, Hutchinson; brother, Lester E. Hunt, Salt Lake City, Utah; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Willis Hunt, Charles Hunt, Byron Hunt, Johnnie Hunt, Velda Smith, Billy Hunt, Rosetta Mitzner and Kenneth Hunt, and a grandson, Darrell Ryan Renner.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Onie Cooper presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present to receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson.
