Lucille Jelean Weaver, 94, died May 25, 2010, at Wesley Towers Hester Care Center, Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 6, 1915, in Monett, Mo., the daughter of Rufus Meridith and Sarah Jane Bragg Dawson. Lucille was a nurse aide.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Rhoades, Salina; three granddaughters, Cherie Moritz, Aiken, S.C., Kimberly Rhoades, Hutchinson and Vicki Koepsel, Salina; a great-grandson, Taylor Matthews; a sister, Evalina Brown, Mt. Vernon, Mo.; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Foster; granddaughter, Cynthia Foster; five brothers and four sisters.
