Lucy Faye Bryant, 88, died Saturday, June 18, 2011, from a head injury after a fall.

She was born to Wesley C. Maxwell and Minnie Leona Gee (Cantrell) on April 26, 1923.

She married Ralph L. Bryant on Aug. 18, 1947. He survives with children: Darlene Manning (Mark), Lee Summit, Mo., Michael L. Bryant (Monica), Santa Rosa, Calif., and Beverly Hoskins (Thomas), Hesston; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Also one sister survives, Bobbie Schlitzkus, Carey, N.C.

A remembrance service will be at held Monday, June 27, 2011, at 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main Street, Hutchinson, KS. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at 10 a.m. at Community Church of the Brethren, 1600 N. Severance, Hutchinson, KS. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, (aka Rayl's Hill), 5905 West 4th Street, Hutchinson, KS. Friends may sign the book Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
