Luther R. Brown, 86, of Hutchinson, died March 30, 2019, at his home. He was born August 7, 1932, to Chester M. and Zora V. (Crisp) Brown.
He graduated from Haven High School and attended college for six months and then joined the United States Army. Luther enjoyed fishing and hunting, and loved antique cars. He retired and was the former owner of the country store at Cheney Lake and Brown's Tree Service.

On September 19, 1953, he married Mildred I. Lintecum in Nickerson. They shared almost 66 years of marriage.

Luther is survived by: wife, Mildred, Hutchinson; sons, Steven R. Brown, OK, and Jeffery A. (Mary Ann) Brown, Haven; and sister, Alice McLaughlin, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be done at a later date. Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, is in charge of arrangements.
