Lyle Ploog, 79, passed away May 15, 2022, at Diversicare of Hutchinson, KS.  He was born February 15, 1943, to Emil W. and Ruby Margaret (Rolfs) Ploog.

Lyle is survived by:  his wife, Joyce Ploog of Hutchinson, KS; children, Lyla Graham of Garden Plain, KS, Carlyle Ploog of Rago, KS, Amy Riggs of Pueblo, CO, Sheila Alexander of Topeka, KS, Terry Hilt of Wichita, KS, David (Denise) Hilt of Fort Worth, TX, Calvin (Lisa) Hilt of Augusta, KS, and Tamara Hilt of Commerce City, CO; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Barbara Stuckwisch.

Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022, at Countryside Baptist Church, 819 W. 30th, Hutchinson, KS, with Pastors Ron Kyker and Cliff Kirk officiating.  Burial will take place in Eastside Cemetery at a later date.  Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
