Lynn Floyd Johnson, 76, of Hutchinson, died Nov. 18, 2010, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Oct. 5, 1934, in Grand Forks, N.D., to John J. and Ardella Smith Johnson.
Lynn moved to Hutchinson in 1963, from Albuquerque, N.M. He was a 1952 graduate of Gilby High School in Gilby, N.D. He worked for Cessna, General Dynamics, and Eaton Corporation for 30 1/2 years. His memberships included the Elks, Moose Lodge, and Cessna Machinist Union.
In 1961 he married Judy Roth in Hutchinson. They later divorced. He then married Barbara Sue Barnes in 1991, in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives. Other survivors include: two sons, Jon M. Johnson and wife Dinah of Hutchinson, and Mike L. Johnson and wife Star of Basehor, Kan.; stepchildren, Kim Russell and husband Brad of Buckeye, Ariz., and Minda Raper and husband Bob of Kellyville, Okla.; brother, Herbert O. Johnson of North Wood, N.D.; two grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Earl Johnson, granddaughter, Ralene Johnson, and sister, Dorothy Johnson.
Memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Reverend Sara Davis Blodgett officiating. Cremation has taken place.
