HUTCHINSON - M. Morris Miller, 90, died Feb. 23, 2010, at Mennonite Manor in South Hutchinson

He was born Feb. 7, 1920, in Great Bend, Kan., to Charles A. and Louise Alice Wesley Miller.

In 1938, he graduated from Radium High School and attended Hutchinson Community College. He was an Automotive Parts Dept. Manager at Davis-Child Chevrolet Co. for many years. He was a 60-Year Member of the Hutchinson-Reno Masonic Lodge #124 A.F. and A.M., Loyal Order of Moose #982, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2550. He married Neva Mae Mount in 1939 in Alva, Okla. She died Nov. 2, 2002.

Survivors include: daughter Sandy Kightlinger and husband Mike of Hutchinson; grandson Clay Haselhorst of Wichita; sister Jean Fairbanks of Mission, Kan.; great-granddaughters Julia and Allison Haselhorst; and sister-in-law Shirley Miller of Minden, Neb. He was preceded in death by: his parents; son Rodney Miller in 2009; daughter Becky Haselhorst in 2009; brother Ralph Miller.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27. 2010, at Elliott Mortuary, with Chaplain Art Maddock officiating. Masonic Services will be conducted by Hutchinson-Reno Masonic Lodge #124 A.F. and A.M. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum. Friends may call 1 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
