Marguerite Moore, 77, died Jan. 11, 2016, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 27, 1938, in Burrton, to Jacob B. and Blanche Mae (East) Enns.
She was a 1956 graduate of Hutchinson High School and graduated from Hutchinson Junior College in 1958. Marguerite was a High School Para Educator for Nickerson High School and had also worked at Kansas Farm Management Group and the Hutchinson Public Library. She was involved with CASA and was on their board of review committee, and was a member of 1st Mennonite Church of Hutchinson.
On Dec. 29, 1957, Marguerite married John R. Moore at 1st Mennonite Church, Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: children, Julie Esau and husband Todd, John H. Moore and wife Denise, both of Hutchinson, Jeff Moore and wife Angela of Augusta; grandchildren, Natasha Esau, Jordan Easu and wife Ashley, Michaela Esau, Quentin Moore and wife Carson, Kelsey Epp and husband Viktor, Jacob Moore, Joshua Moore, Jaykub Popejoy, Annie Moore; brother, James Enns of Rogers, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at the 1st Mennonite Church, 52 Rambler Rd., Hutchinson, with Pastors Tonya Ramer Wenger and Nathan Koontz presiding. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at 1st Mennonite Church, Hutchinson.
