ARLINGTON - M. Ernestine Sullivan, 92, died June 26, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.

She was born Nov. 8, 1916, in Arlington to Jesse James and Myrtle Elizabeth Ousley Stull. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1934.

On July 15, 1935, she married Dallas Jackson Sullivan in Arlington. He died Dec. 28, 1994. They lived in Hays from 1950 to 1973, in Pratt from 1973 to 1981, and then moved to Arlington. She was a bookkeeper for the family business, D.J. Sullivan Oil Company of Arlington, and a homemaker.

Survivors include: two daughters, Dalline Sullivan, and Deanna Mick and husband Lee, Arlington; two sons, Duane, Arlington, and Danny and wife Gail, Great Bend; two brothers, Kenneth Stull, Arlington, and Keith Stull, Hutchinson; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great- grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Stull; and brother, Chester Stull.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Arlington United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ken Keeling officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Arlington United Methodist Church, or the donor's choice, both in care of the mortuary.
