Marc D. Elam, 66, died July 12, 2022, at his home. He was born August 26, 1955.

On May 1, 2002, Marc married Rebecca "Becky" Mears in Clayton, NM. She died January 20, 2016.

He enjoyed listening to Bob Seger and other classic rock, online gaming, and was quite a green thumb. Marc and his wife even built their own "hillbilly" garden with old wash bins and toilets. After his wife's death, he continued to write letters to her daily and kept them in a notebook.

Marc is survived by: step-daughter, Sandi (Gary) Bishop; step-son, Shawn (Celena) Mears; several step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and close personal friends, Belva and Roy Griffith.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., with Todd Ray officiating at Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may sign his book 1 - 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday.
