Marc A. Lloyd's Obituary
Marc A. Lloyd, 57, died July 7, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born Dec. 25, 1950, in Hutchinson, the son of Charles and Ruth Maxine Cooper Lloyd. He graduated in 1969 from Hutchinson High School. He was a maintenance worker for the Reno County Courthouse, and had been a welder with the former IFH Deluxe Specialties.
He belonged to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson.
On Aug. 22, 1992, he married Cecilia Ann Martinez in Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors include: a son, Christopher Meyers, Delphos, Ohio; a daughter, Phyllis Gould, Hutchinson; his mother, Ruth M. Lloyd, Hutchinson; a brother, Kurt Lloyd, Hutchinson; two sisters, Vicki Lloyd and Carol Chambers, both of Hutchinson; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lloyd.
Parish rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson, with Father Brian Nelson presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
