Marc 'Bear' Noyes, 59, died Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born January 21, 1958, in Aurora, Colorado, to Ralph 'Bud' and Mary Lou (Daugherty) Noyes, Jr.

Marc graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1976. He was a self-employed journeyman electrician. Marc was a KU Jayhawks fan, enjoyed golfing, and was known as 'Mr. Fix-It' to his family and friends. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Andover.
On June 24, 1978, he married Laura Hostutler in Hutchinson. They shared 39 years of marriage.

Marc is survived by: wife, Laura of Andover; daughter, Ashley Noyes of Andover; son , Andrew and wife Jessica of Overland Park; sister, Melyn Barnett and husband Richard of Hutchinson; brothers, Guy Noyes of Hutchinson, Todd Noyes and wife Jackye of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and grandchildren, Sammuel Krummrey of Andover and Brooks Noyes and Ryder Noyes of Overland Park.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; infant brother, and brother, Ladd K. Noyes.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Father Kent Hemberger officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday.
