Marcheta Eugenia Link, 70, died June 24, 2014, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson. She was born July 14, 1943, in Hutchinson to Eugene A. and Gertrude D. (Churchman) Link.

She graduated from Hutchinson High School in the class of 1961, and was a member of the South Hutchinson United Methodist Church. Marcheta was a secretary at Doskocil Food Service and later Tyson Foods for many years.

Survivors include: a brother, Gregory Link and wife Peggy, Magnolia, Texas; sisters-in-law, Lila Link, and Peggy Irene Link, both of Hutchinson; nieces, Darci Kisel, Robyn Dunham, Brenda Link, Jennifer Poyner, Rebecca Rodarmel; nephews, Todd Link, Terry Link, Darrell Link; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Alan and Gail Link.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Friday at South Hutchinson United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Warren Hett presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association, both in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
