Margaret Joann Graham, 89, of Hutchinson, died May 24, 2018, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born September 4, 1928, in Hutchinson, to Charles A. and Effie K. (Sames) Chandler, whose family were among some of the early pioneers of Hutchinson.
Joann graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1946 and received a degree of Certified Professional Secretary from Salt City Business College. She worked for Stevens Plumbing, FHA, and Packaging Corporation of America, from which she retired in 1985 after 24 years as purchasing agent. Joann also was owner and operator of Joann's Software. She was a former member of Altrusa International and the National Secretaries Association.
Joann is survived by: son, Ronald Wilson (Linda) of Hutchinson; daughter, Kathleen Niemeir (Frank) of Woodstock, GA; daughter-in-law, Jan Harlow (John) of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Derek Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Vicky Iverson, Sara Fountain, Molly Niemeir; eight great-grandchildren; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Richard L. Wilson; sisters, Clara Ogan and Grace King.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.
