ABBYVILLE - Margaret Ellen Kumorowski, 80, died Aug. 25, 2006, at her home, Abbyville.

She was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Sylvia, the daughter of Charles Alvin and Olive Ellen Harmon Helm. She was a homemaker.

She belonged to Abbyville Community Church and the Quilting Club of Abbyville.

On Sept. 21, 1942, she married James Joseph "Joe" Kumorowski in Hutchinson. He survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Thomas and wife, Phyllis, Winfield; two daughters, Joan McDowell and husband, Edward, Joplin, Mo., and Pamela Nusspickel and husband, Ray, Wichita; a brother, Lloyd Dean Helm, Abbyville; two sisters, Donna May Miller, Seneca, Mo., and Beverly Stykal, Russell; 10 grandchildren, Brandon, John, Peter, Lindy, Richard, Jeff, Collette, Joe, David and Monlena; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Clifford Helm; and two sisters, Dorothy Gillespie and Joann Vincent.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Abbyville Community Church, with Pastors Keith A. Dellenbach and Phyllis Kumorowski presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Abbyville Cemetery.
