Margaret J. Much, 92, died Sept. 16, 2011, at Enterprise Estates Nursing Center, Enterprise, Kan. She was born Nov. 18, 1918, in Wanoka, Okla., the daughter of William J. and Mildred Foster Bellew. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hutchinson, and had been a member of the Presbyterian Women's Circle. Margaret was a secretary for Consolidated Rebuilders for 25 years, retiring in 1979.
On Dec. 7, 1946, she married Edward A. Much in Hutchinson. He died Oct. 22, 2003. Survivors include: a daughter, Terri Schmidt and husband Roger of Solomon, Kan.; two granddaughters, Lindsay Mallard and husband Dan of San Antonio, Texas, and Darby Kite and husband Jake of Blue Springs, Mo.; and four great-grandchildren, Payton and Alannah Mallard and Carter and Samuel Kite.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church Chapel, with Reverend Amy Dame presiding. There will be a private family burial to follow. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to noon Monday.
