Margaret "Ann" Ooton, 94, of Wichita, died October 15, 2022, at her home. She was born November 27, 1927, in Manhattan, KS, to Ralph L. and Bertha V. (Butler) Foster.

Ann graduated from Wichita North High School in 1945 and attended Kansas City Junior College. She owned her own business, Campbells Draperies, in Oberlin, for many years. Ann enjoyed making crafts and attending craft shows. She was of the Methodist faith.

On March 21, 1965, Ann married Billy E. Ooton, in Littleton, CO. He died September 2, 2011.

She is survived by: her son, Kris Ooton of Ellis; sister, Betty Stofer of Leawood; son-in-law, Steve Molstad of Colby; grandson, Kyle Molstad (Emily) of Colby; granddaughters, AnnMarie Koralewski of Gainesville, FL, Shannon Ooton of St. Augustine, FL; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Karen Molstad.

Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, in Larned Cemetery.
