Margaret Louise Raya Tafolla, 82, died May 17, 2025, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born November 2, 1942, Hutchinson, KS, to Frank and Luz (Castor) Raya Sr.

Margaret graduated from Hutchinson High School and worked for Grede Foundary, Inc., Hutchinson.

Margaret was a very active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson. In her spare time, Margaret enjoyed cooking, tending to her yard and flowers, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by: her children, Gabriel (Maata Hardman) Tafolla of Shawnee, Andrea (Cody) Reep of Newton, Lori (Jason) Krehbiel of Plevna, and Mike (Leslie) Tafolla of Hutchinson; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Frank Raya Jr., Joe Raya, and Albert Raya.

Parish rosary will be 10 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2025, both at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Maple, South Hutchinson, with Father Eric Weldon officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
