Margaret R. Riggins, 91, died April 16, 2014, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born Aug. 25, 1922, in Pulaski, Iowa, to Robert and Caroline (Stevig) Sutton.

Margaret graduated from Pulaski High School. She worked at Mammels Grocery Store for seven years and for Central State Bank for 23 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. On Feb. 5, 1944, she married Troy Riggins in Hutchinson. He died Feb. 17, 2005. She is survived by: daughter, Nancy Witham and husband Gary of Hutchinson; son, David Riggins of Hutchinson; sisters, Mary Morrison of Bloomfield, Iowa, Evelyn Setzer of Prescott, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Opal Belliveau of Tigard, Ore.; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Sutton.
