Margie N. Eikleberry, 86, died Aug. 22, 2009 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born July 2, 1923 in Conway to Izella and Samantha Irweese Ring Rathbun. On Feb. 6, 1943 she married William Keith Eikleberry in Hutchinson. He died June 4, 2002.

Margie was a homemaker and she belonged to the First Southern Baptist Church in Hutchinson.

Survivors include a son: Bill Eikleberry, Ark City; 4 daughters: Carol Theriault and husband Jim, Saratoga Springs, UT, Linda Libal and husband Bruce, Luray, KS, Cathy Christian and husband Tim, Visalia, CA, and Nancy Kasparek, Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many good friends.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 9 sisters.

Funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Ray E. Kempel officiating. Burial will be in Monitor Cemetery, rural Conway. Visitation will be 9-9 Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 6-8 at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Hospice House in care of Elliott Mortuary.
