Marian R. Reimer, 85, died Dec. 2, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital.

She was born Sept. 10, 1922, in Commerce, Okla., the daughter of Roy and Ruth Gustin Sanderson. She graduated from Goodland High School. A Hutchinson resident since 1945, she was a secretary for Dillons Bakery and Jones Electric.

She belonged to Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church, the Order of Eastern Star, Silver Leaf Chapter, the Kansas Women's Bowling Association, the Carey Park Women's Golf Association and the Kansas Women's Golf Association.

On Aug. 7, 1943, she married Arthur B. McDaniel at Goodland. He died July 17, 1975. On May 18, 1976, she married Ernest M. Reimer at Ellsworth. He survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Bruce McDaniel, Taylor, Mich., and Bill McDaniel, Hutchison; two stepchildren, Steve Reimer and Charles Reimer, both of Hutchinson; a brother, Edward Sanderson, Buda, Texas; two sisters, Sally Carney, Rustic, Colo., and Martha Williams, Topeka; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Jack and Bill Sanderson; a sister, Marjorie Voight; and a daughter-in-law, Rena McDaniel.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Pastor Alan D. Stambaugh presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to service time today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
