Marie "Billie" Barron, 89, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Heartland Haven Home Plus, Inman.

She was born February 1, 1921, in Sylvan Grove.

She married Rex E. Barron on December 31, 1945. He passed away August 27, 1975.

She retired from Hutchinson Hospital as a registered nurse in 1987. She was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: a son, Bill and wife Margie, Hutchinson; four grandchildren, Jayme Phillips, Sterling, Tanya Whitney and husband Jeremy, Clearwater, Laci Beck and fiancé David Radke, Stafford, Colton Farmer, Stafford; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Judy L. Farmer, and all of her siblings.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Chapel with Rev. Phil Fischer officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.

Memorials may be made to the March of Dimes or American Heart Association in care of the mortuary.
