Marie Biles' Obituary
Marie Biles, 88, died Wednesday in Hutchinson.
She was born November 18, 1921, at Glasco to William and Belle Olson Windhorst.
She was a 1939 graduate of Glasco High School. She belonged to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
On April 25, 1942, she married Arlie G. Biles at Salina. He survives. Their children and spouses include Karen Biles, Hutchinson, Bill and Jane Biles, Pratt, Jan and Randy Steinert, Wichita, Jo and John Wolters, Manhattan. Four Grandchildren, Kevin Biles, Kathryn and Logan McAllister, Russ Wolters and Megan Wolters. She was preceded in death by a son Chuck and two sisters, Marge Sommers and Bernice Dorman.
Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 407 East 12th Avenue, Hutchinson, KS, with Reverend Thomas B. Mendenhall presiding. Graveside service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Glasco Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-9 Friday with family present 6-7 p.m. all at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Church in care of the mortuary.
