Marie Erika Lang, 90, died Feb. 12, 2007 at Hester Care Center, Wesley Towers.
She was born April 24, 1916 in Aberdeen, Idaho, the daughter of Henry Gerhard and Anna L. Kopper Fast. She graduated in 1936 from Whitewater High School. A longtime Sylvia area resident, moving to Hutchinson, she was a homemaker and farmer's wife.
She belonged to First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Church Women and the progressive Sunday school class.
On Oct. 5, 1962, she married Roland E. Lang in Wichita. He died Dec. 27, 1991.
Survivors include: two sisters, Margarthe VanZandt, Wichita and Ella Lake, Lake City.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Fast and an infant sister, Helen Louise Fast.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wesley Towers Chapel with Chaplain Randall Turner presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Hayes Township Cemetery.
