Marilee Sue Southworth, 53, died Jan. 20, 2012, in New Orleans. She was born Dec. 11, 1958, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Howard E. and Anita M. McPhee Southworth.
She was a 1976 graduate of Hutchinson High School and attended the University of Kansas and the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She was a legal secretary, photographer and musician. At KU she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, was a former Miss Hutchinson and competed in the Miss Kansas Pageant.
Survivors include: a son, Zachary Luckett and his wife Elizabeth, Brandon, Miss.; her parents, Howard and Anita Southworth, Hutchinson; a brother, Herb Southworth and his wife, Deb, Wichita; a sister, Lisa Southworth Ronen and husband Mike, Wichita; three nieces, Amanda Ronen, Wichita, Rebecca Ronen Walenz and husband Sam, Watertown, N.Y., and Audrey Southworth, Wichita; and a nephew, Daniel Southworth, Wichita.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Andrew Luckett.
Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at Elliott Chapel, with Rev. Mark Conard officiating. Friends may sign the book Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
