BUHLER - Marilyn Joyce Bowman, 76, died July 24, 2008, at Buhler Sunshine Home, Buhler. She was born March 25, 1932, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Lowell Kenneth and Winifred Margorie Mosher Keen.

She was a lifetime resident of Hutchinson, moving to Buhler in Nov. of 2005.

She was a 1949 graduate of Hutchinson High School and attended Kansas State University, Manhattan. She was a homemaker and military wife. She belonged to Grace Episcopal Church and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and the church choir.

On Nov. 1, 1952, she married Donald Rae Bowman in Hutchinson. He died Dec. 4, 2001.

Survivors include: son, Daniel, Hutchinson; daughters, JudiBeth Bowman, Lewisville, Texas, Tammy Bartlett, Hutchinson; brother, Kenneth Keen, Hutchinson; sister, Judy Anderson, Hutchinson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Donnie, and grandson, Kenny English.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Michael P. Milliken officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, all at the mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.
