Marilyn Devena, 79, died Feb. 19, 2013, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1933, in Ness City, to Noah Edward and Elsie Opal (Morley) Taylor.

Marilyn graduated from Ness City High School in 1951 and attended Salt City Business College. She was a member of Union Valley Bible Church.

On Sept. 8, 1956, she married Darold Devena. He survives.

Other survivors include: daughters, Diana Allen and husband Walt of Bozeman, Mont., Roberta Mugler and husband Gary of Gypsum, Gale Devena of Hutchinson; son, Dale Devena of Salina; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Union Valley Bible Church, 1916 E. 30th, with Pastor Steve Hodgson officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
