Marilyn J. Peirce, age 75, of Hutchinson passed away Monday evening at the Pleasant View Home in Inman, Kan.

She is preceded in death by her father, Harry E. Peirce, her first husband, Everett L. Westfahl and her sister Ellen Sizemore.

She is survived by her mother, Daisy Peirce of Hutchinson; her sisters, Sondra Green of Denver, Colo., and Dorothy Cutliff of Hutchinson; her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Paul Kroll of Omaha, Neb.; and one niece, three nephews and their families.

Marilyn grew up on the Peirce family farm near Hutchinson and graduated from Haven High School in 1951. She worked as a secretary in Albuquerque, New Mexico during the 1960s. She later worked at Cessna in Hutchinson. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19th, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., at Elliott Chapel, Hutchison. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20th at Fairlawn Burial Park in Hutchinson.
