Marilyn Sue Ragsdale, 75, died January 1, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. She was born March 4, 1948, in St. Louis, to James O. and Ruby (Gillett) Ragsdale.
Sue graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1965. She was a retired print operator for Aztec Marking Sign Co. Spending time with her family was the joy of her life. She was very good at pinstriping cars, dancing to oldies, and playing games with family, even if she was a bit competitive. She loved Wii Bowling, and nightly card games with Phil. Most recently she loved her puzzles, watching home remodeling shows, and spending time with her nurses. Sue was very close to her daughters, Michaela and Heather, often referring to themselves as "we three".
Sue is survived by: partner of 30 years, Phillip "Phil" Vigo; daughter, Michaela Beamer; grandchildren, Darian, Shelby, Levi and Madison Coen, and Braelyn Beamer; brother, Robert "Bob" Ragsdale; and many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved.
She is preceded in death by: parents; daughter, Heather Coen; brothers, Jim and Don Ragsdale.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson KS 67501, with Pastor Steve Gill presiding. Family will receive friends an hour prior to service time. Friends may sign the book Thursday 9-8 p.m.
