Marilyn M. Spencer's Obituary
Marilyn M. Spencer, 76, died July 21, 2007, at Thorne Care Center.
She was born May 29, 1931, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Richard S. and Dora May Ward Zeiset. She graduated in 1951, from Hutchinson High School. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she was a homemaker and seamstress.
She belonged to the 10th Avenue United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Quilting Club, and had helped in the nursery and with funeral dinners.
On Oct. 28, 1951, she married Charles Travis Spencer in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Lu Ann Considine and husband Denny, Sterling, and Susan Lynn Simmons and husband, Rodney, Hutchinson; two grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Alan D. Stambaugh and Chaplain Art Maddock presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
