Marina Isabel "Nina" Martinez-Jaimes, 15, died Friday, August 10, 2012. She was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, April 28, 1997, the daughter of Armando Martinez, Jr. and Clarita J. Jaimes.

She was raised in Sheboygan and was a freshman at Ideas Academy High School where she was on the North High Cheer Squad, composed and sang songs. Nina moved to Hutchinson from Sheboygan the first of August.

She is survived by her mother and her fiancé Tim Wesley, Hutchinson, her father, Armando Martinez, Jr. his fiancé Nicole Gonzalez, Sheboygan, WI, Jesus Jaimes, Jr. and Edgard Leiva Jr. thirteen brothers and sisters, Dominic Wesley, Lilia Jaimes, Ermalinda Martinez, Eric Wesley, Rigoberto Jaimes, Vicente Martinez, Crespin Wesley, Cauhutemoc Jaimes, Aleyda Jaimes, Eduardo Leiva, Armando Martinez III, Blanca Leiva and Dominic Green, her grandparents; Armando and Jane Martinez Sr, Virje'anna Samms-Baker, James and Darlene Wesley, Jesus and Lilia Jaimes, Edgard Leiva, Blanca Salazar, Maria Longoria-Griego, Nicholas and Karen Gonzalez and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Willard Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 9 p.m., Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorial gifts may be made to the Marina Isabel Martinez-Jaimes memorial fund in care of the mortuary.
