BUHLER - Marjorie Mae Baerg, 82, died March 31, 2012, at Buhler Sunshine Home.

She was born Aug. 7, 1929, in Hutchinson, to Leland Tasaway and Ona Mae (Wiard) DeVault.

Marjorie married Royce D. Baerg on Nov. 18, 1949, in Inman. He died Sept. 22, 2002.

She was the registrar at Manhattan High School for 20 years and belonged to Beta Sigma Phi and Chapter Laucate of Alpha Lambda. She was a member of Buhler United Methodist Church. Marjorie graduated from Buhler High School then attended Adele Hale Business College in Hutchinson from 1947-1948. She lived in Junction City from 1954-1968 then moved to Arkansas City, where she lived until 1974, moving to Manhattan, before returning to Buhler in 2009.

Survivors include: two daughters, Deborah Hashagen and husband Ron of Westmoreland, Kan., and Diane Reinkemeyer and husband David of Houston, Texas; son, David Baerg and wife Lori of Lee's Summit, Mo.; five brothers, Don (who died April 3, 2012), Dean and wife Sharon, Garry and wife Dede, and Robert and wife Carolyn DeVault, all of Hutchinson and John and wife Norma DeVault of Wichita; five grandchildren, Adam and Andrew Baerg, Eric Reinkemeyer and wife Jill, Sarah Reichling and husband Joel, and Greg Reinkemeyer; five great-grandchildren, Anna, Abby and Ashley Reichling, Alyssa and Colton Reinkemeyer.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Rebecca Stark officiating. Inurnment will be at North Inman Cemetery. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

Memorials may be made to Buhler United Methodist Church, in care of the mortuary. Marjorie's brother, Don DeVault's service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012, at First Southern Baptist Church, Hutchinson.
