Marjorie Ann Herrman, 89, of Hutchinson, died November 4, 2017, at Brookdale of Hutchinson. She was born April 25, 1928, in Great Bend, to Leo and Emma (Cleghorn) Hurst.

Marjorie was a bookkeeper for the family business, Partridge Garage. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening. The last few years, Marjorie worked at the State Fair.

On February 10, 1948, she married Edward Herrman in Hutchinson. He died June 24, 1999. Marjorie is survived by: children, Linda Haller and husband Pete of Mill Creek, WA, Tim Herrman, Greg Herrman and wife Elisa, all of Hutchinson; brother, Keith Hurst and wife Shirley of Sylvia; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Hurst of Sylvia, Helen Hurst of Topeka; seven grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jim and Glen.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2017, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
