Marjorie I. Sjoberg, 98, died April 15, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born July 5, 1912, in Artesia, New Mexico, the daughter of Royal Edward and Charlotte Evelyn Spooner Dunham. Marjorie graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1930, and Salt City Business College in 1932.

On Oct. 10, 1937, Marjorie married John K. Sjoberg in Hutchinson. He died Oct. 22, 1987. She is survived by: a son, Wayne Sjoberg and wife Cynthia, Flagstaff, Ariz.; granddaughters, Sara Bartlo and Gretchen Sjoberg, Phoenix, Ariz.; and great-grandchildren, Shaye and Bryce Bartlo, Phoenix, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Irene Swim, Katherine Kroeker and Velma Turitz; and a brother, Maurice Dunham.

Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mennonite Manor in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
