Marjory L. Green, 76, died June 21, 2007 at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Feb. 11, 1931 in Lamar, Colo., the daughter of Joseph Edward "Ed" and Doris "Queenie" McQueen. She graduated in 1949 from Hutchinson High School. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she worked as a trimmer building mobile homes for Detroiter Mobile Homes for 18 years and then worked in the Dillons cafeteria in 1922 for five years.
She belonged to the Kansas Bowling Association.
On Jan. 21, 1954, she married Fay E. Green in McPherson. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Kenneth D., Maize; two daughters, Tony Penny, Hutchinson and Debra Pennick, Lenexa; two sisters, Juanita Stucky, Hutchinson and Connie Bowman, McPherson; eight grandchildren and a great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harley Davis, Edward McQueen and Donald McQueen.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson with Pastor Butch Lambert presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the funeral home with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
Memorials may be sent to the Hutchinson Hospital Dialysis Unit or the Arthritis Foundation, both in care of the funeral home.
