Marjory E. Johnson's Obituary
Marjory E. Johnson, 87, died Oct. 22, 2005, at the Good Samaritan Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Aug. 13, 1918, in McPherson, the daughter of Frank R. and June Luella Morse Jackson. She graduated from McPherson High School. A longtime Hutchinson resident, she was a retired lingerie buyer for the former Wiley's Department Store.
She belonged to Faith United Methodist Church, the Monday Afternoon and the Sunflower Bridge Clubs.
Survivors include: two sons, Robert and his wife, Susan, Brookfield, Wis., and Richard K. and his wife, Shanon, Westminster, Colo.; four grandchildren, Kevin R. Johnson, Bonner Springs, Todd A. Johnson, Lawrence, Reed A. Johnson, Denver, and Deborah D. Gilbert, Arvada, Colo.; and a great-grandchild, Paige A. Gilbert, Arvada, Colo.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith United Methodist Church, 820 East. 30th, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Brent Clayton presiding. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in McPherson City Cemetery. Family will receive friends following the memorial service.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County or the Hutchinson Public Library, both in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
