Mark Eugene Smith, 69, passed away April 2, 2023, at his home.  He was born March 11, 1954, in Hutchinson, KS, to Albert Eugene Smith and JoAnne (St. Clair) Smith.

Mark was a graduate of Buhler High School, Buhler, KS.  He worked at Mid-America Redi-Mix Inc., as a truck driver and mechanic.

On December 28, 1974, Mark married Debbie J. Gray in Haven, KS.  They shared over 48 years of marriage.

He is survived by:  his wife, Debbie Smith of Pretty Prairie, KS; daughters, Angela Lawless of Hutchinson, KS, and Andrea Smyth of Pretty Prairie, KS; grandchildren, Kaiden Smyth, Braden Smyth, Chase Smyth, Lillian Lawless, and Shawn Lawless; siblings, Galen (Diane) Smith of Corpus Christi, TX, Galord Smith of St. Charles, MO, Joleen Smith of Hutchinson, KS, Doreen Hawkins of Buhler, KS, and Lance (Angie) Smith of Hutchinson, KS; sister-in-law, Shelley (Mark) Stephens of Hutchinson, KS; and brother-in-law, Les (Liz) Gray of Las Vegas, NV.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bruce Smith.

No services are planned at this time.  Cremation has taken place.
